War Thunder Memes Every Day: 4 Fresh Ones, 3 Languages

A phone showing a meme channel with four posts, a daily schedule with four time slots, and three speech bubbles for three languages

@warthunder is a free War Thunder meme channel in Iron Messenger. It posts four fresh memes a day, at 08:00, 14:00, 18:00 and 20:00 Kyiv time, and a human approves every one before it goes out. It has two siblings, @tundrauk in Ukrainian and @tundraru in Russian, and each language gets its own joke rather than a translation of the English one.

What is the @warthunder meme channel?

It is a channel: one account posts, everyone else reads. It has been running since 26 September 2026, and it does exactly one thing. Every evening the freshest community memes that people are actually arguing about that day get shortlisted, ranked by how busy their comment sections are. A human looks at each one. Thumbs up puts it in the queue, thumbs down bins it.

The next morning the queue starts going out. One meme per slot, four slots a day, the same post landing in all three channels within the same minute. If the queue runs dry, the slot stays empty. We would rather skip a slot than post a filler.

What does a day of memes look like?

Here is a real one, Friday 17 October 2026, exactly as it went out on @warthunder: the four pictures, our captions, and the minute each one landed. Each slot gets a few minutes of random delay, so the channel feels like a person posting, not a cron job.

Why does each language get its own joke?

Because a translated joke is a dead joke. A pun that works in Russian falls apart in English, and an English deadpan line reads like a manual when you translate it word for word. So each caption is written from scratch for its channel: English sounds like Reddit and Discord (lowercase, flat, understated), Ukrainian is modern Ukrainian the way a young player types it, and Russian sounds like a runet gaming chat.

The AESA grind from 17 October is a good example. Same screenshot, three jokes. In English the radar detects your retirement home. In Ukrainian the radar already knows you better than your family does. In Russian your grandson is waiting in the hangar. Different people laugh at different things, and the channels respect that.

The channels are fan-made and are not affiliated with Gaijin Entertainment. War Thunder is their trademark; we just play too much of it.

How are the memes picked?

  • Fresh. Only memes from the last day or so, never one we have already proposed.
  • Discussed, not just upvoted. The shortlist is ranked by comments first, because a meme people argue about is usually the one worth seeing.
  • Human-approved. Every single post is reviewed by a person. Anything not approved in time simply expires.
  • Game memes only. Real war footage, politics, mocking real people, anything sexual, ads and giveaways are skipped, however popular they are.
  • Light on your data. Pictures are recompressed to a phone-friendly size and short clips go out as silent loops, so a meme loads on a weak connection.

Why read memes in Iron Messenger?

Because four memes a day is a finite number. There is no feed under them, no ads between them and no algorithm deciding you need forty more. You read four posts and you are done, which is the whole idea behind Iron Messenger.

  • It runs on a potato. If your phone is old, the Lite app weighs a few megabytes and reads the same channels.
  • Your squad can live next door. Start a group for your platoon (up to 500 people) and settle "which BR tonight" with a poll that nobody can peek at early. More in group chats without the chaos.
  • Your best kill can be a sticker. Screenshot it, cut it out in Iron Lab and send it to the people who doubted you. Here is how to make stickers from photos.
  • React without typing. 32 reactions are free, so laughing at the 20:05 post costs you one tap.

Your daily dose of tundra, four times a day. No feed, no ads, no phone number needed to sign up.
